Staying in Victoriaville for the week, & found mention of Cactus via a Google search for late meals. Tried to go to Cactus on Monday for a late dinner (after 9 pm), but kitchen had just closed. Decided to try again on Tuesday after I found an ad for the restaurant in my hotel information guide (including a promotion of a complimentary beverage with purchase of a meal and beverage and proof of hotel room card), but went by 8:15 pm this time. Service from Virginie was excellent (she remembered my earlier failed visit), and fortunately in English (my limited French is more painful for the locals). Virginie brought me an English menu, and she recommended a grapefruit-hops blonde beer (Santa Muerte) I actually liked, despite my not being much of a beer drinker. I asked her for a meal recommendation, and her suggestion of the Cactus Brochette platter (mixed spicy Mexican sausage & beef tenderloin skewer, veggie skewer, salad, rice & fries) was perfect. Was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture. For my free beverage, the manager Patrick recommended a chamomile flavored blonde beer. I also ordered the Baghdad chocolate dessert recommended by Virginie. Had a great conversation with Patrick. Highly recommended for the great staff, good food, and tasty beverages.
It's a really nice restaurant/bar. Good choices of beers, nice menu and the terrace is really nice in the summer.

Awesome place to grab a drink, eat a bite and have fun with friends live bands from.time to time, tends to be packed with 25-40 year old, great terrace.
